Police in Trinity Bay charged a man with drug impaired driving.
RCMP Whitbourne were on patrol in Whiteway, in the early hours of July 21, when they stopped a pickup truck. The driver, a 33-year-old man from Harbour Grace, was taken to the detachment where he completed a Drug Recognition Evaluation which returned a positive result.
His vehicle was seized and his licence suspended.
The man has been released to appear in custody at a later date.
