We will find out this week the results of a one-year trial in St. John’s of paying for parking by phone.
The city began the trial last June at 136 parking spaces on Harbour Drive. A decision note regarding the experiment will be presented to city council at their Committee of the Whole meeting on Wednesday.

Hundreds of parking meters have been ruined by vandals who chop the heads off in order to get the money inside.
The meeting, which is open to the public, starts at 9:00 tomorrow morning.
