The big hats and flowery dresses come alive today at Government House next to Bannerman Park.
The sun isn’t shining but the Lieutenant Governor’s garden party is going ahead this afternoon. It will be cloudy with light winds and temperatures around 20 degrees.
It is one of the social events of the year in metro as the general public is invited.
The party starts at 2:00 and wraps up at 4:30.
