Motorcyclists are being invited to take to the streets in the second annual Memorial Ride for Nevaeh Denine.
The inaugural event saw hundreds of bikers fill the streets in memory of nine-year-old Nevaeh, on the day of her funeral.

Organizer Joe Gallant says he didn’t expect that the event would grow to such size. When he initially put out a call on Facebook, he only expected to get seven or eight friends to taken part.
Instead, when he showed up on the day of the event, there were already 80 bikers rearing to go. By the time they left for their tour through town, close to 300 bikers had shown up.

Gallant says it meant a lot to him for the group to go out and show the world just how much the community adored Nevaeh, and that it will be an emotional day to do it again.
He says it “warms the heart” to feel like you’re helping, with a purpose in life. He says they want Nevaeh’s legacy to live on for many years, and this is their way of doing that.
Bikers participating in the ride are asked to meet at the Paradise Double Ice Complex at 9:00, Saturday morning. The ride will start at 10:00 and run through the Goulds before heading back to the complex, where the annual Lemonade Stand will be taking place.
