The 92nd annual Tely 10 is underway.
Runners hit the road at 8:00 this morning, starting from Tilting Place on Topsail Road. The race finishes just outside of Bannerman Park.
Over 4000 runners are registered for the race.
While increasing cloud cover will provide some relief for the runners, it’s expected to be warm. Temperatures in the low 20s are expected today, with a humidex value of 25 degrees and a high UV index.
And with the Tely Ten underway, there are some road closures to be aware of. .
From 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. parts of Topsail Road, Harvey Road, Military Road, Circular Road, Rennies Mill Road, Monkstown Road, Hamilton Avenue, Cornwall Avenue, Lemarchent Road, and Bannerman Road will be closed for the event.
