The 92nd running of the Tely 10 is in the books, and a new record has been set.
The women’s record for the fastest time in the Tely 10 was shattered at this year’s event.
Anne Johnston was the woman to beat, coming in at 54:29, just over a minute faster than the previous record of 55:34, which was set by Kate Bazeley in 2016.
Meanwhile, veteran Tely runner Colin Fewer captured his 12th title at the event, coming in first for the fourth year in a row. His time was 49:54, 13 seconds shy of his personal best of 49:41 which he set in 2017.
Over 4,000 people were registered for today’s event, which ran from Tilting Place off of Topsail Road to Bannerman Park.
