The RNC has released images of a Jeep believed to be involved in a hit and run pedestrian accident on Blackmarsh Road on Sunday that left a man seriously injured.

The 2011-or-newer model, dark-coloured Jeep Patriot struck pedestrian Rob Howell, sending him flying. Howell landed on a second vehicle.

RNC say the Patriot—believed to be a North edition—was driven by a man with a beard, described as in his 30s.

The Patriot left the scene, heading east on Blackmarsh Road.

The suspect vehicle is believed to have sustained damage in the crash.
