A 70-year-old man is in Intensive Care following an unusual accident on Goodridge Street in St. John’s yesterday afternoon.
A car crashed into a deck, sending two women to hospital with minor injuries.
Robert Boon Senior was working on the brakes of the car when suddenly it started to roll.
A family member tells VOCM News he tried to grab the vehicle to stop it from rolling away, but tripped and suffered serious head injuries after being struck by the car.
He remains in hospital under sedation.
