Production has yet to resume on the Hibernia platform after the release of 12,000 litres of oil July 17th.

A number of oiled birds have been recovered from the area, and observers are on scene.

HMDC says a notice to mariners was not required yesterday, and any fish harversters who believe they have been affected by the discharge can contact HMDC.
