The leader of the PCs is urging government to join other provincial governments on their challenges of the federal carbon tax.
Ches Crosbie says seven provincial governments are coordinating their challenges of the carbon tax, but the Ball government is not one of them.
Crosbie says it hurts the economy without doing anything to reduce carbon emissions or deal with climate change, and neglects to take account of the billions we are investing in “clean energy”.
The PC Leader says if the federal Conservatives are elected with a majority in October, the carbon tax will die.
Otherwise, the Ball Liberals should make clear they will join the challenge and send a loud message to Ottawa that they expect better.
