Buddy the Puffin of the Newfoundland Growlers is the third most popular mascot in the ECHL.

Voting wrapped up last night with Slapshot of the Reading Royals finishing first with 37 per cent of the vote and Biscuit of the Allen Americans a close second. Buddy notched 17 per cent of the vote.

It was the Growlers inaugural ECHL campaign and they are the reigning Kelly Cup champs.
