Memorial University is working to return its operations to normal after an issue with electrical supply caused it to close several of its buildings this morning.
The Field House re-opened at 2:30 p.m. today; the QEII Library, Bruneau Centre, Education & Phys Ed will reopen at 5 p.m. Power will be restored to Computer Services (T-12); Science; Arts Ext.; Biotech; & Chemistry around 6 p.m. today. They will re-open for regular hours Aug. 6.

Power has been restored to the Education and Physical Education buildings, QE II Library, Bruneau Centre, and Field House, which are expected to reopen at 5:00.
The remaining affected buildings should have their power restored around 6:00, but a MUN spokesperson says they will re-open for regular hours tomorrow morning.
Those buildings are as follows:
- Computer Services (T-12)
- Science
- Arts Extension
- Biotechnology
- Chemistry Physics
