Muslim Newfoundlanders Ready for Eid Celebrations This Weekend

The Muslim community in this province is coming together this weekend for a celebration.

Eid-Ul-Adha, also known as the Festival of Sacrifice, begins this weekend.

The Muslim Association of Newfoundland and Labrador is beginning the celebrations on Sunday with congregational Eid Prayer at the Techniplex in St. John’s.

The ceremony will begin at 8:00 a.m..
