RCMP have located what they believe to be the remains of two British Columbia murder suspects, following an extensive manhunt in northern Manitoba.
On Friday, items belonging to 19-year-old Kam McLeod and 18-year-old Bryer Schmegelsky were located near the Nelson River shoreline.

Narrowing the scope of their investigation, two bodies were discovered this morning in heavy brush about a kilometre from where the items were found.
The two were facing a charge of second degree murder in the death of a Vancouver man, and were suspects in the shooting deaths of an American woman and her Australian boyfriend.
The RCMP offered their thanks to nearby communities for their resilience and help during the difficult search.
