If you’re buying a used car, remember to finish your paperwork.

In two separate incidents yesterday RNC officers in the metro region stopped unlicensed drivers who had failed to transfer ownership of their vehicles.

First just before 11:00 a 49-year-old woman was stopped on Hamlyn Road in St. John’s and charged for failure to transfer as well as driving while suspended on an expired registration.

Then at 11:30 a 28-year-old woman in Torbay was stopped for failing to transfer with no license or insurance.

Both vehicles were impounded.
