By spring of next year, users of the Manuels River walking trails will be able to walk all the way to the ocean’s edge.
Yesterday ACOA announced a $300,000 grant for phase two of the trail system master plan developed in 2016. The province is contributing almost $280,000 with over $72,000 coming from the Town of CBS.
The chair of the Manuels River Natural Heritage Society, Donald Sword, says the money will allow the group to continue developing its trails, extending the east side of the system down to the ocean.
