It was a historic day for Rugby in the province yesterday.
The Atlantic Rock U-19 Rugby Team defeated the Ontario Blues 21-5 in the national championships at the Swilers Rugby Complex.
The championship win is the first in nine years for Atlantic Rock.
Yesterday’s game was a rematch of last year’s championship final, in which the Rock were defeated 19-13.
