Dildo mania continues today as rumors run rampant following a secretive Facebook post from the town yesterday.
Last night the town of Dildo Facebook page posted asking for some people with “strong backs” for a “big job” to take place this morning.
The town wouldn’t comment on what the project is, only to say it is a secret. However, rumors are circulating that it has something to do with Jimmy Kimmel’s mayoral campaign.
VOCM News will be in Dildo this morning to provide updates on what the project is.
The talk show host’s coverage of the Dildo craze continued on his show last night, where he released his first campaign video. Kimmel says he knows Dildo people, and like the town he is “flexible but firm.” He says he would love to be Dildo’s captain.
Meanwhile Karine McDonald, the owner of Dildo Cove Coffee and Crafts, says business has been way up ever since Kimmel first mentioned the town. The cafe is Kimmel’s campaign headquarters. She says the exposure has been good for all businesses.
And she knows what she would like to see from Kimmel. McDonald hopes that he at least brings some good weather with him.
