The annual Muslim celebration of Eid-ul-Adha has just wrapped up in the capital city.
The three day Festival of Sacrifice, started with a prayer service on Sunday at the Techniplex.
The president of the Muslim Association of Newfoundland and Labrador, Dr. Mansoor Pirzada, says it’s an opportunity for members of the local Muslim community to worship and celebrate together. He says people came from all over the province. Even his own brother came down from the States to join in the celebrations.
