One month after a float plane went down in a remote Labrador lake with seven people on board, the RCMP has halted its search.
Three of the men are still missing, and the plane’s fuselage has yet to be located.
Four bodies were recovered from Mistastin Lake following extensive searches involving units from the RCMP and Canadian Armed Forces.
Among the victims of the crash are two Newfoundland men, who were guides with the Three Rivers Lodge in Labrador.
According to the RCMP, there have been no recent findings or information that would support a further search of the lake.
RCMP say the decision has been communicated with the families of the missing men.
