A man living in Comfort Cove near a mink farm is frustrated with the flies he says the farm brings with it.
“Craig” told VOCM Open Line with Paddy Daly that the flies come along every year and this year is the worst yet.
He says he can barely open the door to his home in comfort or invite guests over without them wanting to leave.
It is ridiculous, he says. He says he had company drop in and they had to leave because they could not stand the amount of flies.
The fly traps he sets up fill up in the matter of a day or two, he says.
Craig says the local stores even ran out of fly and mosquito traps.
His neighbors are also fed up and have reached out to government but are looking into their next step in taking action.
