A man missing important permission to be behind the wheel of a vehicle, and owing a hefty amount in fines, is in a heap of trouble after a traffic stop in St. John’s last night.
RNC officers pulled over a vehicle at around 1:00 this morning in the city’s west end. It turns out the driver, a 38-year-old man, was behind the wheel with a suspended licence, and did not have consent to be in control of the vehicle.
On top of that, he owes over $15,000 in fines.
He was taken to lockup for a court appearance today.
