An armed robber made off with an undisclosed amount of cash following a frightening daylight bank hold up at the Avalon Mall late this morning.
Police have released a security camera image of the suspect who, holding a firearm, demanded cash from a teller at the CIBC around 11:00 this morning.

RNC Constable James Cadigan says they’re hoping the public can help identify the suspect.
He’s asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident or anything suspicious to contact the RNC at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
The suspect is described as six feet tall, and was wearing a neon orange hat and brown/green shirt.
