The proposed six storey multi-use building in Churchill Square has been given the final green light from city council.
The decision came down at last night’s city council meeting.
Several concerns have been raised about the development from residents, including building height, noise levels, traffic and parking concerns.
Ian Froude says the city has been working with the developer to address concerns, and maintains the project is good for the area.
He says he expects to hear varied opinions from residents on the development, but says he believes the project is a positive one.
