St. John’s continues to have problems with vandalized parking meters.
Last night RNC received a tip that someone was downtown on Duckworth Street stealing money from meters.
The City has had problems with vandalism and theft, leading to them looking for solutions with damaged meters around the city.
Following yesterday’s complaint police arrested a 46-year-old man on the scene. He was charged with theft and breaches, and held for court.
