The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is now investigating the sudden death of a 36-year-old woman in CBS as being suspicious in nature.
The woman was found lying on the side of the road near Porters Trucking last Thurday afternoon. She was rushed to hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
RNC Cst. James Cadigan says police are working to piece together what happened that day, and are appealing to the public for information.
Cst. Cadigan says they’re focusing on the hour of noon to 1:00 p.m. on August 15, and want any dash cam or CCTV footage that may have been captured in the area around that time.
