Travel is on the mind of a Paradise couple, but their long-term plans are retirement after taking home a major lottery win.

Bob and Mary Lou Lambert picked up their Set for Life grand prize this afternoon.

For three years, they’ve set a ritual when it comes to buying lottery tickets. Bob picks up a couple of tickets, and Mary Lou scratches them when he gets home.

Last week was different, however, as Mary Lou scratched a winner worth the lump sum of $675,000. The couple says their first purchase was a new safe to keep the ticket secure.

While retirement is in the works, the next leg of their adventure will likely take them to Ireland, Scotland, Iceland and Portugal.

Aside from clearing debt and taking care of family, Bob says he’s excited to finally get a shed for the yard.
