Police are investigating after an armoured truck burst into flame early this morning in downtown St. John’s.
St. John’s Regional Fire Department was on the scene around 4:00 a.m. at a burning Brinks Truck on Harbour Drive.
Crews had to smash the windshield to douse the fire, which was focused on the front of the vehicle.
RNC believe the fire was likely due to a mechanical problem with the vehicle, however the investigation continues.
