Harbour Grace RCMP are looking for the public’s help in locating a 31-year-old man from Carbonear who remains unlawfully at large.

Adam James Mercer fled from police on August 20 when they tried to arrest him on a warrant related to offences of mischief and failure to comply with a recognizance involving a charge of assault with a weapon.

A second warrant of arrest has been issued for escape of lawful custody and failure to comply.

Mercer’s recognizance has been revoked and there is now a third warrant out for his arrest, for offences of assault causing bodily harm, uttering threats, mischief, animal cruelty and failure to comply.
