The camp will take place at College of the North Atlantic’s Burin Campus and will run until Friday.
Mary Clarke, Executive Director of the organization, says the camps introduce new skills, build confidence and allow girls to try something new. She says if somebody has the skill and knowledge to pursue a career, it should not matter what gender you are.
Clarke says if there is enough interest, the organization plans to offer the camp in Corner Brook as well.
