A bizarre incident unfolded on Waterford Bridge Road in St. John’s yesterday just as people were on their way to work.

According to the RNC, a vehicle collided with a light pole at about 8:00 in the morning. A man then got out of the car and proceeded to attempt to get into at least one other vehicle.

One person with knowledge of the incident says the woman jumped out of her vehicle with keys in hand to prevent the man from getting her car.

The RNC arrested a 37-year-old man and charged him with mischief and breaching a court order.
