If you’re hoping for an easy winter this year, be warned—the 2020 Farmer’s Almanac says we’re in for a ‘polar coaster’ of weather.
Much of Canada will see heavy snowfall, with Newfoundland and Labrador feeling the effects through early 2020.
The Almanac says the heaviest precipitation is expected to arrive in mid- to late January.
Temperatures are expected to ride the seasonal average, if not a bit higher. But the coldest days will be felt in mid-December and late January through early March.
If the cold and snow are not your scene, the Almanac says we can expect a hot, dry summer. However, until then, expect a cool start to spring.
