The Liberal party has widened the gap between them and the federal Tories, according to the latest Narrative Research Poll.
Of Atlantic Canadians surveyed between July 31st and August 22nd, 43 per cent support the Liberal party, an increase of four per cent since May.
Things are going much differently for the Conservative Party of Canada. They stand at 30 per cent support, down by six percentage points since May.
In this province, the Liberals have 48 per cent support, up from 45 per cent in May, while Conservative support has dropped significantly, down to 31 per cent, an 11 per cent drop since the last poll.
Meanwhile, Newfoundland and Labrador is going against the trend when it comes to the Green Party.
Research shows that the Green Party has overtaken the NDP as the third party of choice in Atlantic Canada- except for this province.
Here, the Green Party has not gained much traction, sitting at 3 per cent support, in comparison to the NDP who have 17 per cent of the popular vote.
