It’s shaping up to be a decent Labour Day Weekend on the weather front for most parts of the province.

Alex Klemensky, a meteorologist at the Gander Weather Office, says temperatures will be pleasant for most areas, at least to start the weekend.

In Labrador West, things cool down dramatically Saturday night with a low of four. However, temperatures will stay into the high teens or low twenties for much of the island.

Klemensky says the Avalon should have clear skies for most of the weekend with pleasant temperatures.

He says temperatures will be at about 20 degrees for most of the weekend in daytime.
