Two impaired drivers were taken off the roads in Corner Brook overnight, and just minutes apart.
RNC stopped a vehicle on Main Street just after 2:40 a.m., where the driver, a 51-year-old woman from St. John’s, blew a “warning” on the roadside screening device.
She was handed a 7-day driving suspension with her vehicle also impounded for a week.
Then at 2:45 a.m. police received a report from the public of a possible impaired driver in the West Street area.
The vehicle was located on West Valley Road and as a result, a 55-year-old man from Corner Brook was charged with impaired and failing the breathalyzer.
His vehicle was impounded for 30 days and he was handed a 7-day driving suspension.
