A 36-year-old St. John’s man is facing a number of charges following a spree of assaults overnight.
RNC responded to a report of a disturbance in the east end of the capital city near Guzzwell Drive just before midnight.
Police arrived and found a 36-year-old man had came to the house and did extensive damage before assaulting multiple people and fleeing on foot.
RNC Service Dog, Gunner joined police and successfully tracked the suspect down where he was arrested.
The 36-year-old is facing charges of mischief over $5,000, common assault, assault causing bodily harm, uttering threats and being unlawfully in a dwelling.
He was taken to the lock up for a court appearance this morning.
