Members of the official opposition say they are being pressured by municipal leaders to bring attention to poor road conditions on the Conception Bay Highway.

The issue was brought up in the house in June with transportation minister, Steve Crocker.

The PCs are ringing the bell again now that the start of the school year is drawing near.

Communities specifically mentioned include Holyrood, Colliers and South River.

The PC party says unnamed community officials and sources have valid concerns about potholes and ruts.
