Another close call on our highways captured on dash cam video could very narrowly have become a fatal collision.
Tony Power was driving his rig just west of Baie Verte Junction around midnight last night when a car made an illegal pass around him, almost running head first into another approaching tractor-trailer.
In Power’s video of the incident it appears that the car misses the truck by mere feet.

It’s a narrow strip of highway. Another big rig went off the road in that same area just a day previous. Power says he sees close calls all the time, but this was one of the worst cases he’s seen in 30 years of driving a truck.
