Young Man in Custody Following Threats at Burin CNA Campus

A 19-year-old man is in custody following a lockdown at College of the North Atlantic’s Burin campus today.

The College went into lockdown for over an hour.

One man who was on campus at the time tells VOCM News that the lockdown started at around 12:30, and while it was over quickly, it felt like forever.

No charges have yet been laid, but RCMP confirm a 19-year-old man is in custody, and their investigation continues.
