Preparations continue ahead of eleven nights of concerts in the Iceberg Alley Performance tent on the banks of Quidi Vidi.
Shawn Basha told Greg Smith on VOCM’s Late Drive there is a lot that goes into the set-up—it’s more than just a tent. There are about seventeen 53-foot tractor trailers with PAs, flooring and heating systems inside. Basha says it’s the size of a small stadium.
It’s almost showtime. Coming up on the @590VOCM Morning Show, we’ll take you inside the @icebergalleyNL performance tent for a chat with the organizers. @GerriLynnMackey @VOCMNEWS pic.twitter.com/Hdgb2eH7BH

For folks who haven’t seen the venue yet, Basha says they’ll be hosting an open house this Tuesday.
From 4 to 7 p.m. you can enter the venue and see what it’s all about.
Iceberg Alley runs from September 11 to 21 and includes performances by Alan Doyle, Our Lady Peace, Metric, the Waterboys and more. You can find info on tickets here.
