Newfoundland Power is investigating a number of power outages across the province.
An updated interactive map of outages can be found at Newfoundland Power and Hydro NL.
Deer Lake was one of the towns affected with power outages in some parts of the town Sunday evening.
High winds of 100km/h recorded at around 4:00 p.m. had knocked down a pole near Old Bonne Bay Road in Deer Lake. Crews were working to repair the pole and restore power.
David Thomas, Superintendent of Public Works for the Town of Deer Lake, says they have been keeping on top of the cleanup.
He says crews are out cleaning up trees that have blown over and they are monitoring areas. They plan to do a final cleanup Monday morning.
