Police are looking for help from the public in trying to get to the bottom of those fires in the Pippy Park area a little over a week ago, which police believe were deliberately set.
The two forest fires caused a scare as the Elaine Dobbin Centre was evacuated as was the Rainbow Riders facility on Mount Scio Road. Several volunteers pitched in to get the horses out and to safety.
Anyone who may have seen anything suspicious is asked to contact either the RNC at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
They would like to speak with people who were in the area of the trail system connecting Mount Scio and Long Pond, or the wooded area from Clinch Crescent to Mount Scio Road.
