A driver on the province’s west coast is in a heap of trouble after failing to abide by the province’s move over laws.

Corner Brook RNC were conducting a traffic stop on the TCH near Steady Brook just before 4:30 yesterday afternoon.

An approaching vehicle, traveling at a high rate of speed, failed to slow down and move to the other lane. Upon further investigation it was revealed that the 35-year-old driver had not had a valid drivers license since 2005 and was driving without insurance.

The man has been charged and his vehicle was seized.
