Opera on the Avalon is issuing a warning to patrons about US-based secondary ticket sellers who are claiming to offer tickets for their Phantom of the Opera production at exorbitant prices.
General and Artistic Director Cheryl Hickman says it’s similar to the issue involving Come From Away some time ago.
She says it’s been brought to their attention that some US sites are selling tickets for up to three times the face value of the seats.
She advises that patrons only need to go to the Arts and Culture Centre site and buy tickets for the face value.
It has come to our attention that our patrons have been affected by secondary ticket sellers who may be suspicious and fraudulent.
