Cabot Tower is getting new lighting this fall with work expected to begin on November 1st.
The Signal Hill National Historic Site is getting upgrades to electrical wiring to the tower as well as exterior lights for the tower and visitor centre.
Roads may be reduced to one lane at times because the installation involves underground electrical work. Drivers may come across flag persons, work crews and slowdowns.
Pedestrian routes and trails will not be impacted by the work. The project will finish up by March.
Parks Canada will provide updates closer to the start date.
