One person was taken to hospital last evening following a collision involving a motorcycle.
At about 9:00 p.m. emergency crews responded to the intersection of Westerland Road and Irwin’s Road, near Memorial University’s Faculty of Education building. The driver of a motorcycle had been struck by a car turning from Westerland Road.
The young male rider of the bike was taken to hospital with injuries not believed to be serious in nature.
Both the motorcycle and car suffered moderate damage.
