The former president and CEO of the Newfoundland Liquor Corporation is taking his former employer to court.
Steve Winter, who was appointed to the position by the Danny Williams PC Government in 2004, was dismissed during the first term of the Dwight Ball Liberal Government.
His annual salary was $240,000 at the time plus benefits and perks, including about seven weeks of annual leave. Winter is suing for about two years’ salary and other financial accruals.
