Two men have been arrested and RCMP are searching for a third suspect—believed to be armed and dangerous—in connection with two frightening armed robberies in Grand Falls-Windsor that resulted in injuries to ordinary citizens.

Police conducted searches of two separate residences in Bishop’s Falls and Grand Falls-Windsor. Several key pieces of evidence, including the weapons believed to have been used in the robberies, were seized, while the alleged getaway vehicle was also seized.

Police believe the two robberies are connected.

The two accused are each facing one count of robbery.

The third suspect, 27-year-old Ian Williams of Bishop’s Falls is still at large. He is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.
