A multi-vehicle crash in the capital city slowed traffic in surrounding areas late Thursday afternoon.

Emergency crews were called to the area of Brier Avenue and Old Pennywell Road, following reports of a collision involving multiple vehicles.

An SUV left the road as result of the collision, coming to rest partially over a small hill.
