This is the weekend set aside to honour fallen police and peace officers in Newfoundland and Labrador. The 17th annual Memorial Parade is set for Sunday at the memorial site on Confederation Hill.
Both the RNC and RCMP as well as the Armed Forces play a prominent role in the event. RCMP Sergeant Major Doug Pack will serve as Parade Sergeant Major.
The event takes place tomorrow at 11 a.m. VOCM News will be there.
